Kimberly Lyon is a Water Resources Management and Dams Specialist in the Water Global Practice at the World Bank, based in Washington, DC. She works on projects and analytical activities related to dams and water storage, with special focus on governance and sustainability aspects. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Hydropower Sustainability Governance Committee and Chair of the Financial Institutions Chamber. Before joining the World Bank in 2012, Kimberly consulted for WWF-US and WRI, and prior to that, she worked as a Technical Advisor to the Ministry in the Ministry of Finance in Jamaica. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Rollins College and a Master’s of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
