The 2023 World Hydropower Congress will be held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, which is located at Kawasan Terpadu ITDC NW/1 Nusa Dua – Bali 80363 Indonesia.
The interim Governor of Bali announced a state of emergency on the 20 October as a result of the ongoing drought and fires occurring on the island. The aim of the announcement is to help free up funding and resources for emergency crews around the island and to better distribute aid to those most seriously affected by fire and drought. Nusa Dua remains unaffected and no events are being cancelled.
A list of partner hotels in Bali are offering special discounted rates to Congress delegates and providing a free shuttle bus service to the Congress venue.

Delegates who require an official letter of invitation from the International Hydropower Association to obtain a visa to attend the Congress can get in touch with the Congress Secretariat at email@example.com.

Airport transfers are available for Congress attendees, please let us know the expected date and time of your arrival at the Ngurah Rai International Airport in the relevant section of your registered Delegate account.

We are partnering with local social enterprise CarbonEthics, an organisation that aims to restore the climate balance through nature-based solutions with pioneers in blue carbon conservation. It has evolved from a not-for-profit into a social enterprise that offers climate solutions such as carbon emission calculation, carbon policy and advocacy and climate-friendly travel.
CarbonEthics has created a bespoke carbon calculator for all Congress attendees.
