Since 2020, Lars Meier has served as the Global Head of Sales and Proposal of Voith Hydro Holding in Heidenheim, Germany. He graduated 1997 as a mechanical engineer at the Technical University of Karlsruhe and joined Voith Hydro in 1997 as a turbine design engineer. He has more than 25 years work experience in the field of electro-mechanical equipment for hydropower plants at Voith Hydro. In 2004, he took over several management positions in Voith Hydro‘s research and development department and was later appointed as manager of the design department in Voith Hydro North America from 2010 to 2015.
